Mubanga Wilson Musantu (born May 17, 1993), known professionally as Tylér (an acronym for Thank You Lord Everyday, Regardless), is a Zambian singer, rapper, songwriter, and music producer. A self-taught musician, Tylér honed his skills while studying Clinical Medicine at Eden University. He began his music journey in 2020.
As a musical prodigy, Tylér’s artistic journey began when his mother gifted him a piano on his 14th birthday. With innate curiosity, he started teaching himself to play, eventually mastering the instrument. He also sang in his church’s youth choir, nurturing his vocal talents.
Influenced by Slapdee, General Ozzy, Bryson Tiller, Drake, and Tory Lanez, Tylér’s early work blends spiritually-minded gospel with contemporary styles.
