Now, exclusively for weddings, the designer is venturing beyond the matrimonial category by creating a curated line of eveningwear (satin gowns and midi dresses) ideal for wedding guests, maids of honor, and mothers of the bride or groom.
Peter My Life presented his sexiest, most mature collection yet in Zambia right before our eyes, demonstrating that he has the range and technical savvy to build the next greatest Zambian fashion brand. Yes, his signature knits and stripes are present, but the most enticing pieces are his slightly perverse take on a man dressing, like black suit and tie, white collar shirt, brown shoes, and all. The legacy of Peter My Life is mostly built on fashion and lifestyle space both honor and take inspiration from the a piece of cloth.
For the uninitiated, Peter My Life is known for making a variety of effortlessly fancy wardrobe staples for those who like to keep things polished without compromising on comfort (hi, it’s me). The Lusaka-based fashion label makes pretty much everything one could ever need for a complete wardrobe, including button-down shirts, responsible wool and cashmere suits, shoes and accessories, fine jewelry, and, most recently, perfume. That’s a lot of SKUs to consider, which might make you wonder how everyone landed on the label —but if you were to put a House Of PML suit on, you would immediately know that the answer to that question is quite simple: it’s truly amazing.
