Godfrey Tembo, professionally known as Digo, is a rising Zambian artist born on October 1st, 1993. He was born and raised in Katete, Eastern Province, and is the third born in a family of six. His father, Faston Tembo, and mother, Mary Phiri, originally from Petauke District, have been a strong foundation in his upbringing and personal journey.
Digo masample music discovered his passion for music in 2016 and began nurturing his talent from a young age. His journey has been fueled by determination, creativity, and faith in God. Over the years, he has crafted a distinct sound that blends Zambian culture with modern music styles, earning him recognition in the local music scene.
A breakthrough moment came in 2024 when Digo performed at the Kulamba Music Fest, a performance that captured the attention of All Stars Music Entertainment. Following the festival, he was officially signed to the label under the leadership of Mr. Luwi Daka. This marked a significant turning point in his music career.
Since joining the label, Digo has released notable tracks, including the hit single “Timuziba”, featuring Zambian heavyweights Drifta Trek and JEMAX.
